Union of Moroccans in Finland Organizes Youth Communication Session at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Helsinki

As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the ties between the diaspora and their homeland, and to build sustainable bridges with national institutions, the Union of Moroccans in Finland (Suomen Marokkolaisten Liitto ry), in coordination with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Republic of Finland, organized an interactive communication session for young members of the Moroccan community. The event took place at the Embassy headquarters in Helsinki.

The session was honored by the presence of His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Achkalou, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Republic of Finland, alongside members of the diplomatic corps. The meeting was moderated and facilitated by Mr. Hicham El Alawi, Ms. Nadia Hellsten, and Mr. Abdessamad Essalim.

• Open Dialogue & Youth Mentorship: The session featured an interactive Q&A discussion, where participants inquired about academic pathways, specialized training, and career qualifications required to join the diplomatic service. His Excellency provided valuable insights and guidance, which were warmly received by the young attendees.

The event concluded with a traditional Moroccan tea reception featuring authentic cultural pastries, held in a warm, fraternal atmosphere that reflected a strong sense of belonging and solidarity with the homeland.

In his closing remarks, His Excellency expressed his appreciation to the Union of Moroccans in Finland for organizing this meaningful initiative, praising the active engagement of the youth, their keen interest in national matters, and their aspirations toward diplomatic careers.
